Mr Ibezim said that a white Hyundai bus carrying 20 passengers had a head on collusion with a white bullion van. He blamed the accident to reckless driving by the drivers, said that 22 passengers were involves in the accident.
According to him when the drivers saw that the road was closed owing to presence of heavy police on the road, they resorted to taking the alternative rout created by users.Sunday Trust leant that the corpses have being deposited at the Federal Medical Centre mortuary Owerri.

A fatal road accident which occurred in Atta Ikeduru along Owerri/Okigwe road Imo State yesterday have claimed 19 and leaving g three seriously injured.The Sector Commander Federal Road safety Commission (FRSC) Mr Angus Ibezim disclosed this to Sunday Trust.Mr Ibezim said that a white Hyundai bus carrying 20 passengers had a head on collusion with a white bullion van.
